Cultivation Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced cultivation professional to oversee day-to-day activity in a greenhouse production area. In this role, you will support the growing cycle from propagation through flowering, while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with established procedures. You will guide a small team, assign tasks, provide hands-on support, and help ensure training is completed properly so that work standards are consistently met. Key responsibilities include monitoring crop care, maintaining safe work practices, supporting adherence to production and quality requirements, helping protect site security, and keeping management informed of issues, progress, and operational needs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in greenhouse operations and a solid understanding of plant health, including nutrient management and common deficiency indicators. This position requires someone who can adapt quickly in a busy environment, communicate effectively with a wide range of colleagues, and handle physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting moderate to heavy loads. Weekend or holiday shifts may occasionally be required. A diploma or degree in a related plant or agricultural field is preferred, along with several years of supervisory or lead experience in a large-scale greenhouse setting.
