A recruitment agency is seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Securities Law Clerk to join a Corporate Services Group. The ideal candidate will have specialized experience in securities law and a strong corporate background. This role primarily involves supporting securities matters while also assisting with corporate services as needed.
Key responsibilities include preparing and organizing securities offering and related corporate documents, such as private placement documents, offering memoranda, and annual information forms. The candidate should be familiar with regulatory requirements associated with annual general meetings, private placements, and various filings with stock exchanges. Additional duties involve supporting entity acquisitions and divestitures, preparing and reviewing schedules to definitive agreements, and filing exempt distribution reports.
The successful candidate will have a graduate degree from a recognized Law Clerk Program with a minimum of five years of specialized securities experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, is essential. The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and produce high-quality work with attention to detail is required.
