We are looking for an experienced corporate legal assistant to support busy law firm teams with transactional and administrative work. This role suits someone who is organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing closing agendas and transaction-related documents, assisting with lending and corporate matters, organizing closing materials, drafting renewal documents, and preparing annual resolutions and record books. The role also involves proofreading, tracking deadlines, managing calendars, arranging meetings, and handling a variety of daily administrative and accounting-related tasks. Strong communication with internal colleagues and external contacts is essential, along with a careful, confidential approach to all assigned work. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a corporate legal assistant role within a law firm setting, along with completion of a relevant legal assistant or law clerk program. Experience with document comparison tools, document management systems, e-signature platforms, and Microsoft Office applications is preferred. Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to work well under pressure are important for success in this position.
