The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex corporate matters independently and serving as a key resource for legal professionals. This role requires in-depth knowledge of corporate law, sound judgment, and the ability to work autonomously while enhancing the overall efficiency of the Corporate Services team. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling intricate transactions, anticipating potential issues, and delivering high-quality client service in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include managing corporate records and transactions for both provincial and federal corporations, preparing and filing documentation in compliance with relevant legislation, and handling incorporations, amalgamations, and restructurings with minimal supervision. The role also involves drafting corporate resolutions, collaborating with lawyers on various transactions, monitoring compliance requirements, and maintaining strong client relationships. Candidates should possess a Law Clerk Program diploma with at least 10 years of experience in corporate commercial or securities law within a law firm. Advanced knowledge of corporate legislation, exceptional drafting skills, and strong organizational abilities are essential.
