Construction Site Supervisor

This position is responsible for leading day-to-day operations on an active construction site and supporting the project team in delivering work safely, efficiently, and to the required standard. The Site Supervisor reports to the Superintendent and serves as the main point of contact on site for field coordination, safety oversight, subcontractor management, and quality control. Key responsibilities include organizing site setup and mobilization, helping review project plans and schedules during pre-construction, and ensuring work progresses according to the approved timeline. The role also involves conducting toolbox talks, maintaining health and safety compliance, monitoring site conditions, and addressing issues as they arise. You will coordinate subcontractor activities, confirm materials and equipment are available when needed, and help keep records such as daily logs, drawings, agreements, and site documentation current and organized. The ideal candidate has experience supervising construction work in the field, strong communication and planning skills, and a practical, solutions-focused approach. You should be comfortable working closely with project managers and coordinators, supporting cost tracking and work authorizations, and maintaining a productive site environment. This is a contract role with potential for extension or longer-term opportunity depending on project needs.
