Construction Project Manager

Construction Project Manager Location: North America (up to 25% travel required) Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time Position Overview: The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing industrial and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves providing leadership to a team while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities include managing contract reviews, technical drawing assessments, project planning, material procurement, staffing coordination, scheduling, and client relations. The position combines office-based project management duties with regular site visits. Responsibilities: - Manage construction projects through all phases, including tender review, contract administration, project planning, procurement, installation coordination, execution, and closeout documentation. - Review technical specifications, drawings, contracts, and project requirements to identify discrepancies and risks. - Lead and supervise a team, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance. - Coordinate project schedules, staffing, subcontractors, material deliveries, and installation activities. - Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders throughout project execution. - Resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory codes. - Collaborate with internal departments to support successful project delivery. - Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and innovative solutions. Qualifications: - Completion of a College Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a university degree is an asset. - Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
