Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support a busy project team in Vancouver. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving construction environment and can manage several priorities at once. You will help coordinate interior fit-out projects across a range of commercial sectors, working closely with project managers and field teams to keep work moving smoothly. In this position, you will assist with scheduling, document control, cost tracking, and coordination of project communications. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing subcontract and purchase order paperwork, tracking requests for information and change items, organizing meeting notes, and maintaining up-to-date project records. You will also help with project start-up and close-out tasks, support quality and safety processes, and assist with resolving client or site-related questions in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate has post-secondary education in a related field and some experience in commercial construction is an advantage. Strong computer skills are important, along with the ability to read drawings and specifications. Experience with common project management and collaboration tools is helpful.
