We are seeking a construction methods coordinator to support the planning and execution of civil and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will help develop practical construction approaches, coordinate temporary works needs, and support project teams in connecting design intent with field execution. Your work will contribute to safe, efficient, and cost-conscious delivery from early planning through construction.
Key responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications to identify buildability concerns, developing and refining construction sequences, and preparing technical documents, procedures, sketches, and risk-related materials. You will work closely with planning, engineering, procurement, and site teams to align methods with schedules, logistics, and site conditions. The position also involves supporting lift plans, material handling, access considerations, and site reviews to confirm that proposed methods can be implemented effectively.
In addition, you will help identify temporary works requirements and coordinate with technical specialists on the design and documentation of temporary structures such as formwork, shoring, and access systems. You will review related drawings and calculations, provide technical support to field teams, and help ensure all temporary works are planned and carried out in line with safety and project requirements.
A background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred, along with several years of relevant experience in heavy civil or infrastructure work. Familiarity with drafting and project scheduling tools, strong communication skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are important.
