Construction Foreman

We are seeking an experienced construction foreman to oversee day-to-day site activity on residential projects. In this role, you will organize work on site, direct crews and subcontractors, and help keep tasks moving safely, efficiently, and to the required standard. You will work closely with site leadership to ensure activities are sequenced properly, issues are identified early, and project progress stays aligned with schedule expectations. This position requires hands-on construction knowledge and the ability to turn plans and instructions into clear field execution. You will support multiple stages of work, which may include excavation, concrete operations, structural work, building envelope tasks, and finishing activities. A strong focus on safety, quality, and coordination is essential. Key responsibilities include assigning daily tasks, managing work area organization, supporting inspections and compliance requirements, monitoring structural and concrete-related activities, and helping coordinate deliveries, equipment, and labour needs. You should be comfortable reading drawings and specifications, communicating expectations clearly, and maintaining productive working relationships with trades and crew members. The ideal candidate brings several years of residential construction experience, along with proven leadership in the field and familiarity with modern construction management software. Strong problem-solving skills, practical site awareness, and a commitment to safe work practices are important for success in this role.
