Collections Officer

We are seeking a skilled Collections Officer to manage overdue accounts and support payment recovery for customers in a professional, remote environment. The ideal candidate will be confident reaching out to account holders, following up on commitments, and keeping communication clear and respectful throughout the process. In this role, you will contact customers by phone and email regarding unpaid balances, address questions or concerns about payments, and help move accounts toward resolution. You will also maintain detailed notes, track follow-up actions, and keep records up to date so that account status is always clear. A steady, organized approach and the ability to work consistently toward daily and weekly goals are important. To be successful, you should have prior collections experience and feel comfortable handling a high volume of outbound communication. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. We are looking for someone who is direct, persistent, accountable, and able to stay professional when dealing with challenging conversations. This is a fully remote position based in Canada, with compensation of CAD 4,000 per month gross, depending on experience and demonstrated collections background.
