Collection Vendor Management Specialist

We are seeking a Collection Vendor Management Specialist to oversee and optimize recovery operations within our organization. This role serves as a key contact for internal escalations related to external collections vendors, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and effective borrower resolution strategies throughout the collections lifecycle. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong experience in debt recovery operations, vendor management, escalations, and payment negotiations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Resolutions & Recovery, the specialist will take ownership of escalated accounts, support operational improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance performance in both internal and external collections operations. Responsibilities include overseeing external collections vendors to meet performance and compliance standards, conducting quality assurance reviews, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Candidates should have a strong understanding of collections practices, systems, and customer resolution strategies. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is highly preferred. This position requires managing complex borrower cases with professionalism and empathy, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the development of collections strategies and best practices. A minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or debt recovery is required, along with experience managing third-party collections vendors.
