Clinical Supervisor - Family and Older Adult Counselling

The Clinical Supervisor for Family and Older Adult Counselling is a vital member of the counselling team, responsible for supporting day-to-day service delivery and providing clinical guidance to staff. This full-time role involves ensuring that participants receive high-quality counselling services that align with departmental objectives. The ideal candidate will be a supportive clinical leader who assists staff in navigating complex situations with care and sound judgment. Strong coaching and communication skills are essential for building trust and fostering collaboration among team members. A commitment to quality service and meaningful outcomes for clients is crucial. Key responsibilities include providing regular clinical supervision, consultation, and performance feedback to staff, as well as supporting them with complex clinical situations and ethical decision-making. The supervisor will oversee the delivery of counselling services, monitor documentation and program data, and support program planning and evaluation to ensure continuous improvement. Candidates should possess a master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling Psychology, along with active registration with a relevant professional body. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a counselling or human services environment is required, as well as direct experience working with families and older adults. Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and attention to detail are also necessary. Experience in the non-profit sector and with program evaluation is an asset. Salary range is approximately $69,600 - $90,000.
