Clinical Informatics Manager

We are seeking an experienced clinical informatics professional to support a newly opening long-term care setting. This role combines staff education, data quality oversight, and quality improvement leadership in a resident care environment. The successful candidate will help establish strong processes from the start, working closely with management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely assessments, and effective use of resident care data. Key responsibilities include training new and existing staff on assessment processes, related software, quality indicators, and reporting requirements. You will also support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education for clinical staff, while helping maintain compliance with care standards and organizational policies. A major part of the role involves monitoring data integrity, coordinating required submissions to external reporting bodies, and contributing to continuous quality improvement planning and progress reporting. This position also includes leadership of a restorative care program, along with coaching and mentoring staff to support best practices in resident care. The role requires someone who can interpret regulatory expectations, promote accountability, and address performance or conduct concerns when needed. The starting annual salary is $75,000. This is an existing vacancy. Candidates must be registered health professionals with current licensure in a Canadian jurisdiction outside Ontario and hold equivalent authority for independent practice.
