Class 1 - Owner Operator - BC - AB

We are seeking experienced Owner Operators for linehaul runs between British Columbia and Alberta, with occasional cross-border trips. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances within the Reefer division. Compensation is based on trip rates and hourly pay, depending on the destination. The work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday, with variable shift times. Flexibility for weekend work and layovers may be required based on business needs. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate driver logs, operating the truck and trailer safely, reporting any vehicle deficiencies, and transporting various goods across the designated routes. Candidates must possess a Class 1 driver’s license and have a minimum of 2 years of tractor-trailer experience. Proficiency in verbal and written English communication is required, along with a reliable cellphone for operational purposes. A safety-conscious mindset and a commitment to safe driving practices are essential. Equipment must be 2016 or newer, and trucks should be heavy spec capable of hauling tridem axle weights. Successful candidates will be subject to a background check prior to hiring. The role typically involves 2 to 3 trips between Alberta and British Columbia each week.
