Civil Construction Estimator

We are seeking a Civil Construction Estimator with 3-5 years of experience in civil construction estimating to join our team. This role is essential for supporting and leading bid development for infrastructure projects across the region. The successful candidate will manage key aspects of the estimating lifecycle, including quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, bid submission, and project handoff. Collaboration with operations and leadership is crucial to develop competitive and accurate bids. Responsibilities include preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for various civil works such as earthworks, underground utilities, road construction, asphalt paving, and concrete flatwork. The estimator will analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify cost drivers, productivity assumptions, and project risks. Additionally, the role involves contributing to bid preparation and strategy, participating in bid review meetings, and managing subcontractor and supplier quotes. Familiarity with industry-standard estimating tools is required. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of civil drawings and tender processes, along with experience in estimating software. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
