Chief Operating Officer

A private post-secondary education provider is seeking a senior operations leader to join its executive team as it enters a period of expansion. Reporting to the chief executive, this role will oversee day-to-day institutional operations and help shape the systems needed to support long-term growth, strong governance, and consistent service delivery. The successful candidate will provide leadership across compliance, quality assurance, student support, admissions, facilities, technology, and administrative functions. A key part of the role will be developing policies, operating structures, and performance measures that improve accountability, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and maintain high standards in a regulated education environment. The position also involves working closely with internal leaders and external stakeholders to support regulatory readiness and institutional quality. The ideal candidate will have senior experience in post-secondary education, training, or another highly regulated sector. Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, and operational management is important, along with the ability to work confidently with regulators and government-related bodies. Experience in areas such as student funding, immigration-related compliance, or quality assurance oversight would be considered an asset. The salary range for this position is expected to be $130,000 to $150,000 annually.
