A non-profit organization is seeking a senior leader to oversee administrative, financial, and corporate support functions that help sustain high-quality services and long-term growth. This full-time permanent role is based in the Aurora area, with a hybrid schedule and regular on-site presence required. The salary range is $125,000 to $140,000.
Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the senior leadership team, the Chief Administrative Officer will provide executive oversight for finance, human resources, procurement, contracts, communications, administration, facilities, and information technology. The role is responsible for aligning operational systems with strategic priorities, strengthening internal processes, and ensuring the organization has the structure and capacity needed to deliver services effectively.
The ideal candidate brings strong executive leadership, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment. Experience advising senior leaders and working with a board is important, along with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust across teams and external partners. This person should be a collaborative leader who supports staff development, drives accountability, and improves systems in practical ways.
Core responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, reporting, audit preparation, and maintaining effective controls and compliance. The role also involves oversight of procurement, contracts, risk management, and broader operational functions.
