Category Manager

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead the strategy and performance of a home decor assortment within a retail environment. This role is responsible for driving revenue and profitability, shaping the product mix, and using market, customer, and competitor insights to inform category decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in product, sourcing, and operations to turn strategy into execution. The ideal candidate brings a background in merchandising, buying, product line management, or category management, along with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine interest in home furnishings and decor. You should be comfortable working with evolving processes, building structure where needed, and making informed decisions in a fast-moving setting. A key part of the role is analyzing performance data, identifying opportunities for growth, and presenting clear recommendations that lead to action. You will also help manage pricing and promotional strategy, support planning against financial goals, and ensure teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and quality standards. Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills are important, as is the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across the business.
