Carpenter

We are hiring a Carpenter to support a manufacturing team in a precast concrete production setting. This role focuses on building and preparing wooden forms used in production work, along with related finishing tasks. Day-to-day duties include measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining wood components, as well as working with materials such as resin, fiberglass, and filler compounds. You may also be involved in sanding and other general carpentry-related duties as needed. The ideal candidate has prior experience in carpentry and is comfortable using basic hand tools and reading measurements accurately. Experience from a recognized carpentry training program is an asset. You should be able to interpret simple drawings or blueprints, understand basic math, and follow safety procedures closely. Good attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team are important. This position requires reliable transportation due to shift start times. A basic level of English comprehension is needed to communicate effectively in the work environment. The starting wage is $24.70 per hour, with increases based on experience.
