We are seeking an experienced camp operations leader to oversee daily services at a remote site. This role is responsible for supervising food service, housekeeping, and janitorial teams while ensuring high standards of safety, service, and efficiency. The position combines office-based responsibilities with hands-on site support, so the successful candidate must be comfortable working across multiple areas of operations.
Key duties include supporting supervisors, monitoring staffing levels, managing budgets and inventory, maintaining accurate records, and helping coordinate payroll and invoicing. You will also play an important role in training and developing staff, promoting a respectful workplace, and serving as a point of contact between site teams, management, and the client. A strong focus on health and safety, safe equipment use, and proper handling of cleaning products is essential.
The ideal candidate has several years of experience in hospitality or camp operations management, with strong communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with standard office software, inventory controls, food safety, and workplace safety practices is required. Relevant trade or food safety certifications are considered an asset. This is a rotational role with travel from designated pickup points in northern locations and a major city. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.
