CAD Technician

An opportunity is available for an intermediate-level CAD Technician to support water-related engineering projects within a collaborative technical team. This role focuses on preparing clear, accurate drawing packages and design deliverables for a range of civil and environmental works. The successful candidate will use industry-standard drafting software to produce and revise drawings based on engineer notes, sketches, and marked-up documents. Daily tasks may include developing plan and profile drawings, creating surfaces and cross-sections, and updating grading, erosion control, and as-built documents. Project support will extend to drainage, culvert, channel, shoreline, bank protection, and stormwater-related assignments, along with other water management work as needed. This is primarily an office-based position that involves regular coordination with engineers and other project team members. The ideal applicant is detail-oriented, comfortable working with technical information, and able to contribute to high-quality drawing production in a deadline-driven environment.
