Business Systems Specialist

We are seeking a Business Systems Specialist to support the improvement of business processes, data analysis, system operations, and service delivery within a complex department. In this role, you will help shape and carry out initiatives that improve how teams work, how information is managed, and how technology supports day-to-day operations. You will work closely with managers and staff to understand business needs, identify process gaps, and recommend practical solutions. The position involves coordinating analysis work, supporting system enhancements, assisting with testing and implementation, and helping ensure smooth adoption of changes. You will also contribute to planning, strategy development, and the review of confidential operational data and performance information. This role requires someone who can lead through change, provide guidance to colleagues, and help resolve issues affecting business systems and workflows. You will act as a resource for process improvement efforts, support project planning and scoping, and collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders as needed. A university degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with additional training in business systems, operational improvement, or a related discipline. Candidates should have strong experience with business analysis, project coordination, data tools, and standard office software. Five years of relevant experience and strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills are required.
