Business Development Specialist – Mandarin Speaking We are seeking a Mandarin-speaking Business Development Specialist to support merchant acquisition and account growth within the food service and delivery sector. This role is focused on building strong relationships with restaurant partners, improving order volume and revenue, and supporting the smooth operation of merchant accounts. Key responsibilities include identifying and approaching potential restaurant partners, conducting market research and competitor analysis, arranging in-person meetings, negotiating agreements, and onboarding new merchants. You will also maintain relationships with existing partners, resolve operational issues, coordinate with internal teams such as marketing and delivery operations, and ensure merchant information and account settings are kept up to date. Regular merchant visits may be required, including arranging or replacing store materials as needed. The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and has at least 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing roles; experience in food service or delivery is an advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, time management, project management, and commercial awareness are essential. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, with a data-driven mindset and a strong interest in market trends. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
