Business Development Manager
We are seeking an entrepreneurial sales leader to help expand market presence, develop new customer relationships, and drive profitable growth. This role is focused on identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across priority markets and channels, with an immediate emphasis on growth in the U.S. market and the potential to support additional regions over time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong pipeline, developing annual sales plans, and converting opportunities into new listings, distribution gains, and sustainable revenue growth. Key channels may include grocery, specialty, convenience, club, and foodservice. The role also involves managing broker and distributor partnerships, setting clear performance expectations, and conducting regular business reviews and joint customer calls.
In addition, this position will build trusted relationships with buyers, category managers, and other customer decision-makers; negotiate pricing, promotional programs, and agreements; and identify opportunities to improve shelf presence, merchandising, and product penetration. The individual should bring a proactive, resourceful approach to market development, with the ability to spot whitespace opportunities and adapt to evolving customer needs.
This role works cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, customer service, and finance to support growth initiatives, forecasting, and strategic planning.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
