We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth within the pharmaceutical sector. This full-time, permanent position requires a proven track record in selling innovator pharmaceutical products, with a strong emphasis on full-cycle sales capabilities and relationship building with pharmaceutical companies.
Key responsibilities include managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, identifying and engaging with brand-name pharmaceutical organizations, and developing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating trusted relationships with brand managers, marketing teams, and decision-makers, while consistently achieving and exceeding annual revenue targets. Strategic sales execution will involve presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales focused on brand-name products, with a demonstrated ability to generate significant annual revenue independently. A strong network within the pharmaceutical sector in Ontario is essential, along with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
