We are seeking a senior business development professional to grow relationships and win new accounts in the commercial and industrial energy sector. This role focuses on solution-based selling for clients with significant electricity usage, helping them lower costs, improve operational reliability, and support sustainability goals. You will own prospecting and pipeline development, identify target accounts, and convert opportunities into long-term customers. The position requires a strong “hunter” mindset, with comfort making outbound calls, initiating conversations, and building credibility with stakeholders at multiple levels, from executive leadership to operational teams. Working closely with internal specialists in sales support, technical design, finance, and operations, you will help shape proposals and tailor offerings to client needs. You will also contribute ideas for new services and support the development of strategic partnerships that expand market reach. The ideal candidate has several years of experience in new business development within energy-related solutions or a similar technical services environment, ideally serving large commercial or industrial customers. Experience with demand response, distributed energy resources, and grid-focused technologies is important, along with familiarity with a CRM platform. A college or university diploma or degree is required. This is a high-autonomy role with strong support resources and clear opportunity for professional growth.
