We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a retail financial services location in the Victoria area. In this role, you will guide daily branch operations, support business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and help deliver a high-quality service experience.
This position is responsible for setting and executing branch goals, coaching and developing staff, and building a strong performance culture. You will work closely with the team to improve sales results, manage service delivery, and support operational efficiency. A key part of the role is creating and tracking a yearly plan for growth, service, and financial performance while ensuring results are measured against targets.
The role also includes community-facing business development, such as representing the branch locally and identifying opportunities to expand the customer base. In addition, you will oversee lending-related decisions within approved authority, support sound credit practices, and help ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance. Risk management responsibilities include helping prevent fraud, reducing losses, and maintaining required staff training and licensing standards.
The ideal candidate has several years of branch leadership experience in financial services, along with strong sales coaching, communication, and team leadership skills. Experience in credit, commercial banking, and relevant licensing or certification is an asset.
