This role is responsible for processing payroll across multiple Canadian provinces, with a focus on Quebec operations. It also includes preparing payroll reports, maintaining organized records, and ensuring information is filed securely and handled confidentially. Key duties include calculating earnings and deductions, producing employee pay statements, and resolving routine payroll questions from staff and supervisors. The specialist will also help manage time and attendance issues, complete payroll corrections when needed, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure pay is processed correctly and on time. Strong attention to detail is essential when verifying figures, matching records, and auditing payroll-related information. The ideal candidate can communicate professionally in both French and English. Experience supporting employees with payroll, tax, or benefits questions is an asset. The role requires discretion, teamwork, and the ability to work with sensitive information in a structured environment. Occasional light physical activity and other reasonable duties may be required as assigned.
