Automation Design Specialist

We are looking for an Automation Design Specialist to support an engineering team with the design and integration of automated equipment and related tooling. In this role, you will contribute to mechanical design work that helps bring automated solutions from concept through implementation. You will collaborate with internal engineers and other stakeholders to develop practical, efficient designs that meet project requirements. Core responsibilities include creating and refining mechanical designs for automation projects, supporting the selection and integration of components, and helping ensure that systems are suitable for manufacture, assembly, and use. You may also review technical details, prepare design documentation, and assist with troubleshooting or improvements during project development. The ideal candidate has a background in mechanical design and experience working on automation-related projects or similar technical environments. Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively within a team are important for success in this position. Familiarity with modern design tools and engineering workflows is preferred.
