We are seeking an experienced manager to lead audit operations and support the administration of an employer assessment system. In this role, you will oversee a team responsible for reviewing employer registration, reporting, and payment compliance, while helping ensure audit activities are carried out effectively, accurately, and in line with legislative requirements. You will manage the daily work of the audit group, set annual priorities and work plans, and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to staff. The position also involves reviewing completed audits and account adjustments before they are posted, addressing complex questions from employers or their representatives, and helping resolve issues related to coverage, reporting obligations, and assessable earnings. In addition, you will evaluate internal workflows and recommend improvements that strengthen service delivery and consistency. A key part of the role is supporting the ongoing operation and enhancement of the online assessment platform and related system modules. You will also help develop policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to promote fairness and consistency across audit activities. The ideal candidate will have a commerce or accounting background, a professional accounting designation, strong audit and management experience, and familiarity with systems implementation and project oversight. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Knowledge of the applicable legislation and public compensation environment would be an asset.
