We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in leading customer service initiatives within the store, ensuring that operational standards are consistently met. You will work closely with the Store General Manager to support accurate reporting, sales and profit achievement, inventory management, and staff performance.
Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service and serving as a role model for service standards. As the Manager on Duty, you will oversee the sales floor, adjust staff coverage as needed, and provide coaching to associates. You will also handle customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
In terms of operations, you will monitor team performance and provide feedback on opportunities for improvement. You will assist in maintaining store standards, overseeing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring inventory is well-managed. Collaboration with the Operations Manager will be essential for achieving audit compliance and health and safety training requirements.
As a leader, you will coach and motivate the sales team, focusing on exceptional service, store cleanliness, and compliance with policies. You will also assist in staff development through coaching, performance appraisals, and recruitment efforts.
