As a Project and Claims Management Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring a prompt, coordinated, and effective response when a property requires upgrades or when incidents occur. You will oversee the quality of interventions, compliance with work standards, and customer experience, collaborating closely with technical teams, contractors, and managers.
This position is dynamic, allowing you to manage various situations where your organizational skills and judgment are crucial. You will have a tangible impact on improving living conditions, developing technical expertise in project coordination, claims management, and supplier relations. Teamwork, collaboration, and efficiency are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage claims related to weather events, water damage, and fires, coordinating repairs and insurance processes.
Continuously monitor case files and maintain progress records.
Prepare work lists and assign contractors for property upgrades.
Ensure timely repairs and compliance with rental deadlines.
Solicit bids, analyze offers, and make recommendations.
Monitor work progress and ensure quality standards are met.
Organize, classify, and update documents and files.
Propose improvements to claims management processes.
Perform other operational tasks as required.
Requirements:
College diploma in architectural technology or building mechanics; a university degree in property management is an asset.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Strong technical knowledge of construction standards and maintenance techniques.
Availability for evening and weekend emergencies.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Valid driver's license.
Skills:
Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to prioritize effectively.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent planning and coordination abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Ability to manage stress in emergency situations.

What We Offer:
Permanent full-time position (35 hours/week, Monday to Friday).
Salary range: $50,000 to $64,000 per year.
Four weeks of vacation after one year of service.
