Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead a transactional accounting team supporting Canadian operations. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day activity of accounts payable and accounts receivable staff, helping ensure invoices, payments, and related records are handled accurately and on time. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve billing, payment, and receipt issues, while also responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. This position includes team supervision, coaching, and identifying training needs to support consistent performance. You will also assist with month-end activities such as journal entries and account reconciliations, and provide information or support during audit requests as needed. Additional responsibilities may include contributing to broader finance projects and handling other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a degree in finance, business, or accounting, or equivalent relevant experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable. A background of several years in both AP and AR is preferred, along with strong knowledge of general ledger and sub-ledger processes. Experience with common accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools is an asset. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships are essential.
