Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage client engagements, support a collaborative team, and help deliver high-quality tax and accounting services. This role combines client-facing work, file review, staff mentoring, and project coordination in a fast-paced public practice environment. The successful candidate will handle a mix of corporate and personal tax work, including preparing and reviewing compilation engagement files, corporate returns, personal returns, and related statutory filings. You will also assist with tax planning calculations, review corporate tax balances, and contribute to special projects as needed. A strong understanding of client needs, business operations, and professional standards is important. This position requires someone with sound leadership abilities, strong organization, and the confidence to manage competing priorities. You should be comfortable guiding junior staff, supporting team development, and maintaining a high level of service and professionalism. Clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues are essential. Candidates should have several years of experience in public practice and hold a CPA designation. Experience with accounting and tax software, corporate accounting, personal tax, and bookkeeping is an asset. Proficiency with standard office software is also expected.
