2026-039 Seniors Centre Manager

Position: Seniors Centre Manager Employment Status: Full-Time Salary: $36 - $48 per hour, 35 hours per week Closing Date: June 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM The Seniors Centre Manager is responsible for the leadership, planning, coordination, and evaluation of the Seniors Day Centre and related senior programs. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe, inclusive, and person-centered services that support the health, wellness, independence, and social connection of seniors within the community. Required Qualifications: - Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Health Administration, Recreation Therapy, Community Services, or a related field - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in program or service delivery within senior services, health, community-based, or social support environments - 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience, including staff oversight, scheduling, and performance management Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the Seniors Centre to ensure a safe, welcoming, culturally respectful, and inclusive environment - Supervise, support, and evaluate staff and volunteers, including scheduling and task assignment - Plan, implement, and evaluate seniors programming aligned with community needs and organizational priorities - Develop program schedules and activities that promote wellness, independence, social engagement, and active aging We offer attractive benefits, opportunities for advancement, and an engaging work environment, including a matched RRSP contribution, EFAP program, and health and insurance coverage.
